American singer Teddy Swims pulled the plug on his Brisbane show on Tuesday night after members of the crowd breached his strict concert rules.
The 31-year-old pop star, who is currently on her I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy tour in Australia, outlined some rules for the audience as she performed.
“Back in Georgia, we call this simple rule ‘Stay With It,’ so you have to keep an eye on your friends,” Teddy began.
“I want to make this rule now so that we are all safe and happy. Safety is the best thing we can do for each other.”
However, several members of the crowd ignored his warning and began fighting as he performed his heartfelt ballad Something I’ll Never Know.
This caused Teddy to abruptly pause his performance and publicly denounce the rule-breakers.
“Fighting in this song? It’s crazy. Like all the other songs, I’d say maybe, but this song? It’s crazy. What happened to sticking with it?” Teddy asked angrily.
The rioters were quickly escorted away by security and the singer was then able to resume his concert.

Fortunately, the rest of the concert went off without a hitch and Teddy had the crowd screaming for more as he sang his most famous hits.
Teddy Swims (born Jaten Dimsdale) is an American pop star who last year achieved a top five hit in Australia with his R&B song Lose Control.
He will next perform at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Thursday and Friday before taking to the stage at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Saturday and Sunday.
Teddy stopped his show mid-performance after members of the crowd began fighting, and did not resume singing until the offenders were escorted away by security.
