Manchester fans booed the US national anthem on Saturday before the Logan Paul-Dillon Danis fight.
As a singer performed “Star-Spangled Banner,” her voice was largely drowned out by a chorus of jeers from the crowd.
The boos came after Michael Buffer urged the British crowd to respect the American anthem.
“At this time, ladies and gentlemen, please be respectful and honest as we honor America’s fighters in the ring with their respective national anthems,” he said.

The boos also led one of the DAZN broadcasters calling for the fight to later say, “That didn’t go well.”
The fight followed a similar storyline for Danis, who barely landed a punch on Paul and seemed like he wasn’t taking the fight seriously at times.
The Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt, who spent months throwing extremely personal rants at Paul and his fiancée, Nina Agdal, landed just nine punches to Paul’s 82 heading into the sixth and final round.
At other times, he threw backhand punches and even laid down in the ring at one point.

Security swarmed the ring in chaotic scenes as the fight descended into anarchy.

Logan Paul dominated a surprisingly passive Dillon Danis Saturday night en route to a victory
With the fight clearly out of reach in the final round, barring an unexpected knockout, Danis attacked Paul’s legs in the final seconds.
After attempting to tackle Paul, he ended up on the ground himself before his previously subdued opponent shot him while he was on the ground.
From there, it was pure chaos as teams from both sides poured into the ring and a shoving match ensued.
Paul ultimately won by disqualification for Danis’ wrestling antics.
