Amber Rose attempted to walk back her comments by accusing Beyoncé of ripping off her speech at Friday night’s rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in Houston.
The media personality, 41, who is an avid supporter of former President Donald Trump, received scathing comments following her tweet that read: “She wants to be me so bad.” He literally took over my entire speech,” referring to his support for Trump at the Republican National Convention in July.
The Grammy winner, who has supported Harris since President Joe Biden quit the race, told her hometown crowd, “I’m not here as a celebrity.” I am not here as a politician. I’m here as a mother.’
“A mother who cares deeply about the world that my children and all of our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we are not divided,” she said.
In her speech at the Republican National Convention in July, Rose said, “My whole world revolves around providing for my children, keeping them safe and giving them a chance at a better life.”

“I didn’t think it was going to make national news when I posted that comment, but I love Beyonce, I know Beyonce and we’ve hung out a lot,” he added, “but I was quietly trolling.”
The comedian said it was “crazy” that “a comment can become international news.”
