New York police are looking for a nine-month-old girl allegedly abducted by her father after he assaulted her mother in Harlem.

An Amber Alert was issued on Monday for baby Mi Angel Gaines after authorities said her father Antonio Armstrong, 22, left with the child around 2:30 a.m. from Frederick Douglass Boulevard near 131st Street in Harlem.

The NYPD Mi Angel report was “taken under circumstances that suggest to police that she is in imminent danger of serious injury and/or death.”

Armstrong is the girl’s non-custodial father and took her without permission, according to authorities.

Armstrong was last seen with Mi Angel in a stroller around 2:50 a.m. on Eighth Avenue in Manhattan, police said.

According to the police, the child was last seen in a red, white and blue onesie.

Authorities say the girl has long black hair with brown eyes and is about 15 inches tall and weighs 19 pounds.

Police described Armstrong as 5 feet-10 and about 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes and a tattoo of a microphone on his neck.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s 32nd Precinct at 212-690-6315 or call 911 to provide information about a report or sighting.
