Amazon has announced a new range of products, including the Fire TV Soundbar. It’s the retail giant’s first soundbar to come with Fire TV OS and access to hundreds of apps, like Netflix, Hulu, Max, Disney+, Paramount+, Peacock, and more.
Priced at $120, the Amazon Fire TV Soundbar features a dual-speaker system for powerful and rich audio with deep bass that can fill an entire room with sound. It also has Dolby Audio for sharpness and detail and DTS Virtual:X for 3D virtual surround sound.

The soundbar also features Bluetooth, so you can sync your smartphone with it – perfect for playing your favorite music or podcasts in a room full of friends and family.

Meanwhile, it is compact at 24 inches long and less than 3 inches tall. It’s small enough to fit in most entertainment centers and under TV stands, while simple plug-and-play installation via HDMI gets you up and running in minutes. Simply connect the soundbar to your TV’s HDMI eARC/ARC port and you’re ready to watch Netflix with enhanced audio.
Although the Fire TV Soundbar comes with a remote control, it does not support the Alexa voice assistant. However, the retailer combined the Fire TV Soundbar and Alexa Voice Remote Pro into one convenient bundle for $155. The Alexa voice assistant can be used for quick and easy voice search instead of endlessly scrolling through a grid of icons and titles. For example, just ask, “Hey Alexa, play Barbie on Prime Video” or “Hey Alexa, tell me about upcoming Prime Day deals” and she makes it happen.
In addition, Amazon also announced new product refreshes for Echo Frames and Carrera Smart Glasses with Alexa, Fire TV Stick 4K streamer, Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet, Echo Show 5 smart home display and more. View a full list of new devices here.
