Amazon signs a deal with Apple to offer everything from iPhones to Beats headphones on its site

Amazon has signed a pioneering deal to expand the selection of Apple products on its websites worldwide.

The world's largest e-commerce company said it is going to sell more of Apple's devices dramatically.

The deal, unveiled by CNET, will cover the latest devices from Apple, including the new iPad Pro, iPhone XR, iPhone XS and Apple Watch Series 4, as well as Apple's Beats headphones series.

It concerns the US, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan and India.

APPLE AND AMAZON & # 39; S TV ROW

The war broke out in 2015 when Amazon banned the sale of Apple devices on its platform.

The movement was seen as a maneuver to control the living room.

But the company Cupertino countered the attack by omitting Amazon shows in its iOS 10.2 update that included the TV app for its Apple TV – and those two have been rivals ever since.

However, the thaw started earlier this year, when Apple TV finally added the Prime video app.

"Amazon is constantly working to improve the customer experience, and one of the ways we do this is by selecting the products that we know customers want to increase." Said an Amazon spokesperson in a statement.

We look forward to expanding our range of Apple and Beats products worldwide. & # 39;

However, the deal can be bad news for some sellers on the site.

Only Apple authorized resellers may now sell Apple and Beats products on Amazon's marketplace.

Currently, many of these Apple products are not available on Amazon or can only be purchased through the external marketplace at a variety of prices and conditions.

Amazon already sells some Apple devices, such as MacBook laptops and Beats headphones.

We work with Amazon to improve the experience for Apple customers on their site, & # 39; said Apple.

We look forward to seeing that these customers have a great way to purchase iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac and more. & # 39;
