Amazon Prime viewers have reported being too scared to sleep after watching the 2018 creepy British movie The House on Mansfield Street.

Directed by Richard Mansfield, the film follows the life of a documentary filmmaker as he begins to notice paranormal activity – as well as a possible demonic presence – in his new home.

Nick Greene, recording his move from London to a smaller town, begins to notice strange happenings, and it’s not long before things take a particularly sinister turn.

While many viewers were excited about the movie, others claim to have had sleepless nights and said the movie really “freaked out” them.

The trailer for the creepy movie reads: “In 2015, Nick Green made a movie that documented his move to a new city.

“He never finished it.”

While settling into his new abode, Nick begins to notice strange happenings in his apartment. And from there, things quickly start to spiral out of control.

Whether the documentary is based on a true story or not is left to the viewer.

Mansfield Street is a real location though; a street in Marylebone, central London.

And after watching the 74-minute film, viewers said the footage kept them up at night.

Despite a PG-13 content rating, people on Twitter were left with mixed feelings about the film.

One person on the social media site wrote: ‘Just finished watching “The House on Mansfield Street” and it really freaked me out. I wish I didn’t sleep alone.’
