Amazon Prime fans have been left reeling by a “very disturbing” but “extraordinary” Oscar-nominated film.
Incendies, released in 2010, is based on a play written by Lebanese writer Wajdi Mouawad, inspired by the Lebanese Civil War.
Upon its release, it was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film and won eight Genie Awards, including Best Picture.
It was also a box office success, grossing £12.3 million on a £5 million budget.

Her daughter is tasked with delivering a note to the father the twins never met, while her son must do the same, but for the brother they never met.
After being informed of their duties, the twins travel separately to the Middle East, where they discover their family history, with devastating consequences.
