Amazon Music Unlimited is getting another price hike, and this one affects people who pay for the music service and Amazon Prime subscription.
The cost of the individual Amazon Music Unlimited plan for Prime members will increase from $8.99 to $9.99 per month, according to Variety and the hollywood reporter. The price of the family plan for Prime members is also going up, going from $15.99 to $16.99 per month.
Costs for annual plans for individuals and families who are Prime subscribers are also increasing, each by $10, THR says. That means the annual individual plan will now cost $99 per year, while the family plan will cost $169 per year.
The price increases are supposed to start immediately for new customers and on September 19 for current subscribers. THR reports. I still see the old price of $8.99 on this Amazon Music Unlimited page, but I suspect that will pass soon. Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
