Amazon makes it easier than ever to get your packages at the launch from its in-store Counter pick-up service in the US in more than 100 Rite Aid stores.

Counter works in the same way as The existing Amazon Locker service: Customers can select the store where they want their packages sent, but instead of storing them in a safe, the packages are sent to their local store, where customers can pick them up from a Rite Aid employee. When the package arrives in the store, customers receive a barcode by e-mail, which they scan in the store to get their package.

You can only pick up packages from a Rite Aid and Counter is not part of the in-store return program that Amazon will launch in July with Kohl & # 39; s.

Amazon is currently rolling out the counter to more than 100 Rite Aid stores and plans to reach 1,500 Rite Aids by the end of the year. The company also says it is "actively looking for additional partners on board".

Amazon previously launched Counter in the UK with NEXT stores and in Italy with Giunti Al Punto Librerie, FermoPoint and SisalPay locations, and the success of the overseas program led the company to extend it to the US.
