  • The delicious brew requires eight hash browns from a McDonald’s store
  • Then add bacon, cheese, chives and sour cream before baking in the oven
  • Potato gems work just as well to put a delicious spin on the classic nachos

A home cook has amazed thousands with his loaded hash brown recipe, complete with bacon, cheese, chives and sour cream.

Delicious photos of the meal were shared on social media by a Sydney man with instructions on how to cook it in Kmart’s $ 129 3-in-1 Air Fryer Oven.

“I first cooked McDonald’s hash browns at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes,” said the amateur chef, showing how he placed eight golden potato slices on a baking sheet.

“I first cooked McDonald’s hash browns at 200 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes,” said the amateur chef (he started with six before squeezing two more on the platter).

“Once they were cooked, I added bacon and cheese – both tasty and mozzarella – before cooking them at the same temperature for another five minutes,” he said (pictured)

The man pulled the brew out of the mini oven for the third time, then added chives and sour cream for extra flavor.

The result looked like a modern potato twist on a classic nachos dinner and should be served immediately.

In a separate photo, he showed how potato pearls – which are essentially cylindrical hash browns – could be cooked the same way.
