For Blind Date in 1991 – her first TV appearance – Amanda wore a low-cut black jumpsuit and revealed that her ideal husband would be Hollywood star Jack Nicholson, who is over 30 years older than her.

In 2000, she had a much-discussed affair with Men Behaving Badly star Neil Morrissey, and divorced Dennis three years later.
