In one segment of the show, Amanda donned a flowy spaghetti-strap dress while assisting Stephen Mulhern during his magician’s trick.

Alan began the Royal Albert Hall show, which filmed in November, by mocking Amanda’s risqué dress and declaring it was “just on the right side of an Ofcom complaint”.
He continued: “I feel a great sense of comfort and security sharing the stage with you, well it’s a high profile event and if Just Stop Oil takes the stage I can use you as my human shield.”
As Amanda joked: ‘Well, good luck to them because I’ll end up being their first victim to end up less orange.’

Speaking of the excitement of the night and being in the same room as a royal, Alan joked about Amanda’s curtsying plans and joked that she might not be able to bend over “in that outfit.”
Amanda also shared an embarrassing wardrobe mishap from her theater days, recalling a moment when her dress slipped during a conversation with former Conservative Party leader William Hague.
She joked: ‘He was chatting, looking me straight in the eyes, and one of my tits was hanging out!
But she assured fans that: “Nothing will happen at the Royal Variety!”

Even though Amanda’s wardrobe led to some controversial moments in the past, she has defended her bold fashion choices in the past saying, “Fashion is about taking risks.” I encourage everyone to have a little fun and be a little daring. I’d be bored of playing it safe.
