Amanda Bynes debuted a dramatic new look on her latest outing as she walked down Hollywood Boulevard in The Angels.
On Tuesday, the 38-year-old Nickelodeon alum showed off a new black hair color while stepping out to soak up the sun amid the heat wave in Southern California.
She combed her long straight hair and tied back her bangs as she enjoyed the fresh air.
For her laid-back outing, the Sydney White star opted for a casual look in an oversized grey T-shirt, which she paired with khaki shorts.
The All That alum, who declined to appear on Investigation Discovery’s explosive docuseries Quiet on Set, completed her casual ensemble with a pair of black and white Vans and a floral crossbody bag.

She sported long, straight hair with her bangs pulled back as she squinted in the sun during the Southern California heat wave.
Her latest appearance comes after she announced in March that she was “going to start wearing wigs from now on.”
Bynes explained at the time that her hair had been “growing really weird” after she got a crew cut.
A month later, the Amanda Show alum announced she would be returning to nail school after failing to obtain her license during her previous attempt.
“Since I haven’t yet passed the exam to get my nail salon license, I went back to school to study nail salon theory so I could practice doing acrylic manicures before taking the exam again so I’ll be ready when I get a job at a nail salon,” Bynes revealed.
She announced her new career path in December when she canceled her podcast with Paul Sieminski, despite the first episode doing “really well.”
“I was actually surprised and of course I was going to go ahead with it after my friends encouraged me to do it,” Bynes said after second-guessing the decision.
“After thinking about it, I’d rather get my nail art license and have a stable job,” she announced. “I’m going to go down that path.”
Meanwhile, Bynes declined to participate in the documentary series Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, which exposed predatory behavior on Nickelodeon.
A source told TMZ that Bynes was grateful for her time on Nickelodeon and didn’t feel like she had anything to contribute.
Bynes opted for a casual look for the outing in an oversized grey T-shirt, which she paired with khaki shorts.
The All That alum completed her look with a pair of black and white Vans over black socks, as well as a floral-patterned crossbody bag. Her latest appearance comes after she announced in March that she’s “going to start wearing wigs from now on.”
In one episode, former Amanda Show actress Raquel Lee Bolleau accused Bynes of spitting in her face multiple times.
“I was furious,” said Bolleau, 37, who recalled that the director had to take her aside to calm her down.
Meanwhile, Amanda Show creator Dan Schneider has defended his close relationship with the actress after others accused him of toxic behavior.
“It was very difficult to watch the last two nights,” he said of watching the documentary series.
