Amanda Bynes was “happy and relaxed” as she hosted an art exhibition in Los Angeles that helped showcase her “latest love”, according to sources who have confirmed it would take a “small miracle” for the star to return to acting.
Over the weekend, the 38-year-old former actress held a pop-up event in Los Angeles attended by artists including singer Noah Cyrus.
The art show, in collaboration with fashion designer Austin Babbitt, also known as Asspizza, highlighted the star’s continued love of art and fashion following her graduation from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
Now sources have exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com that the former child star will be focusing all of her efforts and attention on her aspiring career in fashion, and has no intention of returning to the world of acting.
“This is and was a tremendous step forward for Amanda,” the source began. “She will go through mental health issues for the rest of her life, but to be out there and share with friends and fans and be close to her latest love, her art was exactly what she needed.”
In fact, the actress stopped acting in 2010 and went on to have highly publicized mental health issues that led to her being placed under legal guardianship supervised by her parents for nine years.
Sources have confirmed to DailyMail.com that it would take a “minor miracle” to get Amanda Bynes back into acting.
The source noted that the former actress felt “happy and relaxed” while hosting an art exhibit in Los Angeles over the weekend that helped showcase her “latest love.”
However, the star has been turning his life around as he puts his heart into his creative pursuits.
The source noted that the success of the recent art exhibition has spurred the star to continue, adding: “It was a relief and calmed her down and she was just happy and relaxed.”
“It didn’t start out that way because I was worried about how people would take it, but it was as successful as it could be.
“He hopes to do more of this in the new year, because his return to active acting just isn’t going to happen.”
Speaking further about the star’s attitude towards acting, the source explained: “For her to get back into acting would require a small miracle, it’s something she doesn’t want to immerse herself in anymore.”
“She’s lived that life and finds it more important to do other things and with her art and design, that’s what she likes to do and what she wants to give her full attention to.”
The source mused that the only way fans would be able to see the star on screen again would be in a very limited capacity.
“If I were to act in the future, it would be limited and almost like a favor for a friend,” the source said. “But don’t hold your breath.”
The source explained that the former child star will focus all of her efforts and attention on her aspiring career in fashion and has no intention of returning to the world of acting.

The pop-up show held at the PLANTS + SPACES store included ‘art and clothing,’ according to People — and the event was sold out, according to the link on Amanda’s Instagram account.
“My associate’s degree in art with a concentration in product development at FIDM was worth it,” the actress-turned-designer wrote in an Instagram Story post in October.
So far, Amanda and Asspizza have announced that they have collaborated on a t-shirt, which features a drawing of a woman on the back, and a pair of shorts, available in black, white or grey.
The designer shared a video of the shirts being printed on Instagram.

In March, the What A Girl Wants star said she had gained 20 pounds due to depression.
“I’m much better now and I’ve learned to do the opposite when I don’t feel like exercising or eating healthy,” she revealed on social media.
“I’m 162 pounds right now and I want to be 110 pounds again,” she told her fans.
