Amad Diallo’s ‘preferred club choice REVEALED as Man United consider sending striker out on loan’… with Erik ten Hag ‘ready to make decision on youngster’s future’
- Amad Diallo was successful on loan with Sunderland last season
- Man United are currently deciding whether to do another season on loan
- Manager Erik ten Hag will make the final decision in the coming weeks
Manchester United will make a final decision on Amad Diallo’s future in the coming weeks, with the player hoping he will be included in Erik ten Hag’s first team.
However, fabrice romano reports that if United decide to loan him out again, he would prefer to spend another season with Sunderland.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a fine campaign in the Championship, contributing 13 goals and three assists as the Black Cats narrowly missed out on promotion.
Romano took to Twitter on Friday morning, writing: “Amad Diallo’s future is still open.” Man United will make the final decision on Amad in the coming weeks. He hopes to have a chance in the first team, but it’s up to Ten Hag to decide.
“Understand in case Manchester United decide to loan out Amad, the player’s preference would be Sunderland again.”

Dutch champions Feyenoord have also expressed interest in the player, who has two years left on his contract at Old Trafford.
Diallo’s current deal with United expires in 2025, but the Red Devils have the option of extending it for another year.
United signed the player for £19m, plus £18.2m in add-ons, in 2021.
He has made nine first-team appearances since then, contributing one goal and one assist.
