Alvaro Morata’s model wife Alice Campello has revealed the reasons behind their planned divorce just a day after denying the Euro 2024-winning Spanish captain had sent “explicit photos” to another woman.
The couple announced their split earlier this week after seven years of marriage, during which they had four children together.
Confirmation of their split came just a fortnight after the couple were spotted kissing on a beach during a family holiday on the picturesque Mediterranean island of Sardinia.
Now, Campello has explained why the pair have ended their relationship, citing how the “instability” of football combined with other pressures forced them to the breaking point.
The 29-year-old influencer also explained how postpartum depression has affected them both and their decision-making, with their fourth child, Bella, born last year.

Describing how they mutually decided to end their marriage, Campello said through Brand:’We are two young people, we have both been immature when it comes to managing certain situations, there are many children, moments of instability from being from one country to another.
‘My postpartum depression has had an impact, and so has yours, which has prevented us from managing certain situations between us.’
Morata and Campello have remained on good terms since announcing their decision as they attempt to navigate toward a respectful divorce in the weeks and months ahead.
Campello hit back at suggestions of infidelity as “nonsense” in a passionate social media post as speculation intensified surrounding the reason for the split and explained that they are still in love.
‘We love each other infinitely, love doesn’t end from one day to the next, we respect each other a lot and nothing is going to change,’ she continued.
“It’s what we both needed right now, but I know Alvaro would kill for me,” Campello added.
Just a few weeks ago, the model was photographed alongside her husband after he captained Spain to victory in the Euro 2024 final on July 14.
Morata, who recently moved to Inter Milan after two seasons at Atletico Madrid, was recently spotted without his wedding ring while signing shirts for fans of the Serie A side.

Campello has since removed her husband’s name from all of her social media biographies.

Morata and Campello photographed in February of this year attending an event in the Spanish capital.
He told a similar story to Campello when he broke the news to her that they were splitting, saying: ‘After some time of reflection, Alice and I have made the decision to separate.
‘A WONDERFUL and RESPECTFUL reciprocal relationship where we have loved and helped each other a lot.’
Campello has since removed her husband’s name from all of her social media biographies.
She has also changed her online name from ‘Alice Campello Morata’ to ‘Alice Campello’.
