Trooping the color 2024
Princess Charlotte seemed to take her role as a big sister very seriously last weekend when she scolded her younger brother, Prince Louis, not once, but twice during the annual celebration.
The six-year-old Prince stood on the platform in front of thousands of fans and supporters with his arms slightly wrinkled in front of the national anthem.
His older brother then said, ‘Louis put your hands down,’ according to lip reader Juliet Sullivan, before tapping him on the shoulder to get his attention.
Louis then scrunched up his face before placing his hands at his sides and standing to prepare for the national anthem.
Earlier that day, the Prince was again reprimanded by his sister when she ordered him to “stop” his dancing, while standing at a window of the Horse Guards building, so that they could observe King Charles inspecting the troops outside.
As Prince George, Charlotte and Louis waited by the window with their mother Kate, 42, the youngest royal began swaying her hips, much to the apparent displeasure of her older sister.

Children in Wales were photographed looking out the window of the Horse Guards building, as King Charles inspected the troops below.
Charlotte, who has been seen giving instructions to her siblings during previous royal events, appeared to tell her brother to “stop dancing.”
However, he did not seem moved by the order and continued showing off his moves.
Meanwhile, their mother, the Princess of Wales, appeared to smile as she watched the interaction between her children, before returning to her previous, more serious demeanor.
Appearance of Buckingham Palace after the Platinum Jubilee parade
During the Buckingham Palace balcony appearance in 2022, Charlotte was filmed telling her older brother George to stretch his arms.
Princess Charlotte also took care of her two brothers during the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations two years ago.
The royal was on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with her parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and her brothers, Prince Louis and Prince George.
However, he noticed that his older brother, second in line to the throne, had his arms raised on the ledge instead of at his sides and seemed to be fidgeting.
George then lowered his arms to his sides before standing as the national anthem played and a sea of people dressed in red, white and blue sang.
After Charlotte spoke to George, the late Queen seemed to turn to him and also say something about him lowering her arms.
The Queen and Princess Charlotte also seemed to be in sync, as they both waved to the thousands of fans who were in the mall at the same time.

Many Firm fans may remember that Kate was busy looking after four-year-old Prince Louis during the Platinum Jubilee concert in 2022.
While talented singers and bands including Queen, Diana Ross, Ella Eyre and George Ezra performed for royalty, Louis was filmed fidgeting and putting his hands over his mouth.
Princess Charlotte sat next to her cheeky younger brother Prince Louis throughout the concert.
This meant Kate received help from her only daughter, who was seven at the time, who pulled Louis’ arm out of her mouth to stop him sucking her fingers.
He then appears to brandish his fist at his younger brother, perhaps warning him not to suck his fingers again.
At that point, her mother, known as the Duchess of Cambridge at the time, stepped in and whispered something to Charlotte.
Louis then taunted his older sister and brandished his own fist in the same manner, before his mother gently pushed his arm into her lap.

During the four-day celebration of the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Prince George, her mother Kate and Camilla rode in a carriage through the shopping centre, in front of Trooping the Colour.
Both Charlotte and Louis were filmed waving to fans, but the young Prince got a little carried away with his trademark “windshield wiper” wave.
As Wales’ smallest boy waves enthusiastically, Charlotte pushes his hand down. Then she says something to him, apparently telling him to stop waving.
Once again, unbothered by the stern words, Louis almost immediately begins to greet the gathered crowd once more.
