Taking up her mother’s passion for horses, Mia enthusiastically cheered on the racing at Cheltenham earlier this month, showing off her boundless energy and sense of fun.
She also wowed crowds of well-wishers when she joined Prince William, Princess Kate and their children during the Sandringham Christmas stroll in 2023.
Princess Anne’s granddaughter has often shown that she is equal to her father, former England rugby player Mike, and has even expressed an interest in the sport. She has also shared memorable moments with Princes William and Harry over the years.
The family’s attendance at various horse competitions and trials has created many opportunities for Mia to take center stage.
From the moment the young royal had fun at the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant to when Zara had to intercept one-year-old Mia’s playful antics at the British Eventing Festival in 2015.

One of Mia’s most recent adorable pranks was during a day out with her family at Cheltenham Racecourse on January 1.
She could be seen cheering vigorously with her arms raised, alongside her younger siblings, Lena and Lucas.
Mia also seems to share a particularly close relationship with her royal cousins and is often seen sharing sweet moments with them.
She stole the show at Sandringham in 2023 when she joined William, Kate and their children as they walked to church for the Christmas Day service.
She was nine years old at the time, she gently took Louis’ hand and they both smiled as they walked while Mike and Zara stood further back with their second daughter, Lena.
After the service, Mia smiled widely as she took a bouquet of roses from Kate, who waved to the crowd.
She shared another adorable moment with her cousins at Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee parade when she was sitting behind Louis.
Mia enthusiastically danced and sang ABBA with Savannah and Isla Phillips (daughters of her uncle, Zara’s brother Peter Phillips) while Louis and Charlotte sat opposite them.

Zara and Mike’s eldest daughter also seems to enjoy rough play and has been seen many times having fun with her mother’s cousins, Princes William and Harry.
In 2016, Harry was seen playing with Mia, who was just two at the time, while her mother hugged her at a charity polo match in Tetbury.
The following year, Mia was seen running towards William, who was with his polo team ready for a charity match at Beaufort Polo Club. The prince hugged the boy while Zara and Mike watched.
She appears to have a similar fun and adorable relationship with Princess Anne’s husband, Sir Timothy Laurence.
He was seen lifting the young woman by her ankles and hanging her upside down while smiling at the Badminton Horse Trials in 2016.
Over the years, Mia has shared many lively and fun moments with her father, Mike.
When she was younger, she was seen carried on his shoulders several times, including in 2016 at the Gatcombe Horse Trials, when the two-year-old yawned while Mike carried her.
Later that year, feeling more awake and energetic, Mia covered her father’s eyes and smiled as he walked with her on his shoulders at the Festival of British Eventing.

Mia also appears to share Mike’s interest in rugby in 2022, she said. Hello! magazine that she “loves” the sport and was “excited to be able to start playing contact rugby next year.”
She wasn’t always a big rugby fan, however, as Mike previously said his daughter was part of a team but often insisted she “didn’t like” the sport before playing.
The former rugby international also played outside center for Bath and Gloucester. He earned 75 caps for England between 2000 and 2011.
Meanwhile, Mike’s fellow The Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast host James Haskall hinted at Mia’s playful nature.
She said: “I would love my daughter to be like Mia, a perfect combination of fun and laughter with a bit of character.”
Even as a little girl, Mia’s fun personality shined through and in 2015, Zara was very busy during the Festival of British Eventing.
Mia, who was just one year old at the time, was photographed curiously walking towards an electrical generator as Zara approached her.
Zara, a passionate equestrian, had competed in the event two years earlier while pregnant with Mia.
