Alison Hammond returns to the studios of This Morning for the first time in 15 weeks

She’s been busy hosting her hilarious segments from various locations in the West Midlands amid the corona virus pandemic.

And Alison Hammond appeared over the moon when she finally returned to the This Morning studios in London for the first time in 15 weeks on Monday.

The presenter, 45, made a statement encouraging social distance by wearing a crazy hat with six-foot poles before drinking a pint of beer.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield appeared cheerfully when they introduced their colleague to the program.

TV veteran Phillip, 58, said, “We’ve been able to ease some restrictions,” before his co-host, 39, added, “That’s right, for the first time in 15 weeks we can finally have a guest in the studio. That’s why we invited the best, most entertaining woman we know. ‘

“Unfortunately, Beyonce was not available, so we settled for Alison Hammond,” the cheeky couple quipped.

ITV star Holly described a downside to current social distance guidelines and shares, ‘I’ll tell you something, this is really hard because you give the best hugs. Every instinct in my body now just wants to give you a hug! ‘

The former Big Brother star replied, “I know, let’s do a virtual one. How nice to see you now! ‘

Alison put on a quintessentially radiant display while wearing a floral print blouse and her new hairstyle debuted.

Spinning around in the kitchen, the actress said, “Yeah, I’m really good guys, I did my hair. I’m back! I was not desperate [though].

“I have become really good at tangling and washing my own hair. Aiden [Alison’s 14-year-old son] is good, he had a wonderful weekend, it is wonderful to see everyone. It is so strange to enter the studio and see you. ‘
