During the interview, Alison also opened up about her loving relationship with her son Aidan, to whom she recently emotionally apologized for “not always being there.”
“If you could feel the way my son loves me, it would be magical,” she said. ‘He has become quite a gentleman. He helps me a lot doing things around the house.
“He gives really good advice, and because he’s Gen Z, he’s on top of things and tells me what’s cool.”
‘He is the yin to my yang; He’s like me, but a calmer version. I say “Woo-hoo” and he says more “Mom, relax.” Although he doesn’t try to control me.
She joked: “He wouldn’t try to change me because, well, why mess with perfection?”

A woman named Anita called to tell Alison how happy she had made her feel while they were riding a train together earlier in the year.
Anita said: ‘Alison Hammond, you are a wonderful person who made a lady feel so special.
