She’s gearing up to launch a new lifestyle brand of her own, but it seems Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is still willing to do a favor for a friend.

It can be revealed that the Duchess has been promoting a new make-up range from her friend, mogul Victoria Jackson, who is part of her ‘Montecito Mafia’.

Jackson has just relaunched her iconic 1980s cosmetics brand, No Makeup Makeup.

According to sources close to the Duchess, she is promoting it purely out of friendship and there is no exchange of money. “She and Victoria have been friends for years,” I’m told. “She loves the product and it is not a paid endorsement.”

Jackson wrote on Instagram: “You look stunning, Meghan! Thank you so much @danielmartin for your support on the red carpet debut of No Makeup Makeup! Love, Victoria.”

Businesswoman Jackson, 68, lent her home to Meghan for a photo shoot with The Cut in 2022 and is one of the key members of the former actress’ inner circle. The couple were introduced by feminist icon Gloria Steinem.

Meghan celebrated her 41st birthday at Jackson’s ranch in Santa Barbara, near Montecito.

The businesswoman made a fortune with Victoria Jackson Cosmetics, which she began selling first through an ad and then on QVC. But she stepped away from the business after her daughter was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease and set up a charity that funded research into treatments and cures.

In 2021, she launched “anti-aging” skin creams under the banner Kind Science with another close friend, Ellen DeGeneres, who happens to be another good friend of Meghan’s.

Meanwhile, the Duchess is set to launch her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, later this year, with a Netflix cooking series and a branded rosé wine as the first projects. Other homewares and food items will follow.
