The woman was stopped again by Road Safety Command on May 30 at 7 p.m.

She was subjected to a drug test in which she reportedly tested positive for the same drugs – while she had a five and a six year old in the car.

She was arrested and rescued by the Alice Springs court.

Sergeant Conan Robertson of Southern Traffic Operations said: “The police are clearly disappointed that someone would continue to put others in danger by driving a prohibited drug into their bodies twice in the same month.

& # 39; Particularly worrying was the fact that the driver had two children aged five and six in the car on the second occasion.

& # 39; The message from the police is simple; do not drive with alcohol or drugs in your system.

& # 39; In addition to endangering the driver, this selfish behavior also endangers other road users. The police will continue to hold such drivers responsible. & # 39;
