  • ABC’s George Stephanopoulos held an ‘intense’ interview with Alec Baldwin about the deadly Rust shooting

Alec Baldwin sat down for an “intense and raw” interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos to discuss the Rust shooting that killed the film’s cameraman.

In the interview airing tomorrow at 8pm, Stephanopoulos said Baldwin talked to him in great detail about everything that happened the day his gun accidentally went off and shot Halyna Hutchins on set.

“You can imagine he was heartbroken, but he was also very candid, was very candid,” Stephanopoulos said of his hour-and-a-half interview with the actor.

“He answered every question. He was talking about Halyna Hutchins and also meeting her family. [He] discussed in detail what happened on set that day.”

The interview comes as investigators continue to investigate the shooting and now believe that a homemade bullet supplied by a New Mexico gunsmith made its way onto the set and into Baldwin’s gun.
