Nutrition coach Bec Hardgrave (pictured) revealed how to make your own McDonald's McChicken burger at home with affordable ingredients from Aldi.

A nutrition consultant has shared how she makes her own guilt-free McChicken burgers using cheap Aldi purchases.

Bec Hardgrave, from Brisbane, used just four ingredients to make the “fake” snacks which only have 380 calories per serving.

“They’re super quick and easy to make. I just throw the chicken in the fryer, assemble the burgers and that’s it,” she said.

“It’s perfect when you fancy Macca, you have to try these.”

The fitness trainer purchased Aldi’s Farmwood brand chicken breast schnitzels for $4.99 for a four-pack and four sesame seed brioche burger buns.
