Aldi is urgently recalling milk for fear of it being contaminated

Urgent recall of milk when supermarket withdraws product from shelves for fear of contamination

Aldi has issued a product recall for almond milk that is stocked in supermarkets across the country.

The recall was released Friday out of concern that the Inner Goodness UHT Almond Milk Original 1L may be contaminated.

The affected cartons have been on sale at Aldi stores across Australia, with an expiration date of April 18, 2021.

The precautionary recall states that the problem with the milk is “possible microbial contamination.”

‘Food products with microbial contamination can cause diseases when consumed.’

Aldi customers who have purchased the milk are not recommended to consume it.

Customers can return the product to any Aldi store for a refund of the purchase price.

Customers concerned about their health are encouraged to seek medical advice.

“Aldi Stores takes product quality and safety seriously and we apologize for any inconvenience caused,” the recall said.
