An Aldi employee also joined the conversation, sharing why the product has been hard to come by in the past.
In addition to the purple bottle, there is also a pink ‘degreaser’ version.
‘Aldi worker here – I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about the availability of this product [and] pink vs purple,’ she said.
“Just a bit of inside information: Usually the boxes are no longer a mix of both varieties, so we might get six boxes one day, but they’re all purple, and the next week we get all pink.”
“Unfortunately, it doesn’t alternate perfectly and we may only have one color for several weeks.”
“This is out of the control of individual stores, but you can confirm that none are discontinued and you should be able to ask a staff member to contact nearby stores to find out if they have the color you’re looking for.”
