Aldi Australia is set to bring back its stunning Christmas tree which looks like a high-end version costing over $1,000.

The sold-out 7-foot-tall Winchester Deluxe Pre-Lit Christmas Tree will return to stores for just $149 starting Wednesday, October 30.

The tree has been a big hit with buyers each year, with some revealing they had difficulty getting their hands on one due to its popularity.

Some shoppers have noted that the budget tree is the perfect, affordable alternative to Balsam Hill’s more luxurious Christmas trees, which can cost up to $1,299.

To add to the holiday cheer, the retailer will offer a new 6ft (182cm) Henley pre-lit Christmas tree for just $79.99, expanding its festive range.

As well as offering all the festive favorites and traditional touches for tree decorations, baubles and twinkle lights, the range will include Santa Claus, reindeer and nutcrackers.

Bringing an Australian twist to its range this year, shoppers can expect to find two new illuminated kangaroo displays for a fun summer Christmas.

Tree ornaments and lights start at $3.99, with the option to purchase a little more in decorations, including a solar laser light projector ($39.99) and a Harry Potter-themed mini Christmas train set ( $49.99).

Meanwhile, Kmart Australia has launched its own festive range, including the new pre-lit snowy Christmas tree for $129.

Measuring 213cm tall, this affordable purchase mimics the look of snow-covered branches and has 200 built-in LED lights, making setting up easier and faster.

‘I was very impressed with how easy it was to set up and very little “snow” fell to the ground. What a bargain,’ said one happy Kmart shopper.

“Couldn’t be happier with Kmart’s pre-lit Christmas tree, gorgeous even when not lit,” revealed another.

“Looks beautiful,” added a third.

The tree offers an affordable alternative to the Balsam Hill Frosted Fraser Fit Tree, which is priced upwards of $1,699.
