Aldi fans across Australia were surprised to see a range of British snacks in the popular ‘Special Buys’ center aisle.

Natalia, from Sydney, came across the products in a recent store and was in total disbelief.

“I’m actually going to cry,” she said in a video while holding a packet of Smith’s Prawn Cocktail chips, a sub-brand of Walkers.

“My parents are in England at the moment and they are bringing some packages… now I have more, which makes me very happy.”

Natalia was also delighted with the cheese, pickles and Worcestershire sauce flavored chips. Customers can also get bags of Galaxy Minstrels and Little Rolo chocolate.

Emily, who is from the UK but now lives in Melbourne, managed to buy snacks that reminded her of home.

‘All Brits are running to Aldi right now and this is why. “I’ve really missed British chocolate,” he said in a TikTok video.

“I don’t even like shrimp cocktail fries, but I know everyone is going to eat them.”

Since then, both videos caught the attention of the masses and hundreds were hoping to walk away with some treats.

“None at my Aldi, so disappointed,” one wrote.

“I live inland, we don’t have Aldi and I’m DEVASTATED,” said another.

A third wrote: ‘I’ve spent eight years searching for prawn cocktail crisps! My place better have some or it will break my heart.

But others wondered if the snacks could be purchased elsewhere year-round.

‘Isn’t there a reject shop in Melbourne? Has lots of chocolate and sweets from the UK all the time,” one wrote.
