Albury: Man stabbed to death in car park before 27-year-old arrested

A man has died after being stabbed in a car park in southern New South Wales.

Police said the man, believed to be in his 30s, was found with a stab wound to the chest in a car park in Albury on Monday night.

Emergency workers were called to the scene at Wodonga Place at approximately 6:15 p.m.

The man, who has not yet been formally identified, was treated by paramedics at the scene but later died at Albury Base Hospital.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and is assisting officers, and police said a report will be prepared for the coroner.
