Alanis Morissette may have discovered the fountain of youth.
The Grammy winner, who brought mourners to tears by handing her to rest at Lisa Marie Presley’s funeral, looked much younger than her 48-year-old in a sexy sheer black bodice and full-length velvet skirt at the CMT Awards on Sunday in Austin, Texas.
Hitmaker’s chestnut brown hair was styled into loose curls that hung around her face and shoulders.
Her makeup looked natural under the bright cameras, highlighting the artist’s flawless complexion.
Later in the evening, the icon donned a pair of black leather leggings, a white T-shirt and a long, sparkly trench coat as she joined four other artists to pull off a powerhouse rendition of Canadian rock hit, You Oughta Know.

The collaboration with Lainey Wilson, 30, Ingrid Andress, 31, Madeline Edwards, 29, and Morgan Wade, 28, marked the 10th anniversary of CMT’s Next Women in Country campaign.
CMT launched the program in 2013 to support and promote female artists in the male-dominated field of country music.
during an interview with Entertainment tonightTop of the chart said she was thrilled to be involved.
“At any time I can support women expressing themselves, and feeling safe in a world that isn’t always the safest,” she said.
“Every industry, in general, is seen through a male lens, so presenting a female lens as a gang is really… I’m going to show!”

Both of Alanis’ collaborators have been featured on stage previously in the franchise.
Madeline and Morgan were part of the Class of 2022, while Ingrid and Lainey were part of the Class of 2019.

The song began with each of the women singing a line from the 1995 song, which still resonates with audiences nearly 30 years after its release.
Women in the audience stood up, sang, and pumped their fists to the beat.
About halfway through the song, flames controlled by her appear behind the singers.
Writing about the experience, Ingrid Andress shared a photo from the performance on Instagram, “If you’re wondering why this is the happiest you’ve ever seen me… you should know that this was a peak moment for me.”
She continued, “Thank you @alanis, for sharing your wisdom and platform with girls who want to be just like you.”
Madeline Edwards agreed, saying “This is what icons look like”.
