A pedophile who pressured a 14-year-old girl into performing a sex act on him before the school bell rang has been brutalized in court by his devastated mother.
Melbourne father Alan Leah was branded a ‘pathetic, evil and depraved monster’ when he appeared via video link in Victoria County Court last week.
The then 31-year-old tradie sexually assaulted the 14-year-old girl and performed sexual acts in front of her between June 2020 and February 2021, according to the Sun Herald reports.
He pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child and sexual activity in the presence of a child after the court read the victim impact statement written by the teenager’s mother.
Melbourne’s Alan Leah, from Cranbourne East, was branded a ‘pathetic, evil and depraved freak’ by the mother of his young victim in a Victorian court last week.
The court heard on one occasion in October 2020, Leah said his arm around her, lifted her top and put her hand on her pants before the victim pushed him away, prompting him to call her a whore and “weak”.
In her statement, the teenager’s mother said that only Léa was weak.
“You had the audacity to call my 14 year old daughter a whore and weak when she tried to defend herself against a grown man in his thirties, but the only weak person is you, Alan, to do this to a child,” the statement read.
“Here we’re here to expose what’s really behind this formidable persona he projects into the world who is just the dangerous predator that you are, Alan.”
Days after the incident, prosecutor Alisa McVean said Leah exposed his penis and told him to perform a sex act on him, telling him to “do it quickly before the school bell rings”, before refusing.

In her court statement, the girl’s mother said her daughter no longer looked at the world with wonder and mystery and was struggling to find the will to live.
Leah’s defense attorney, Martin Kozlowski, asked the judge to adjourn the case so he could provide more details about his client’s mental health at the time of the offense.
Mr Kozlowski said his client suffered from bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety, but a psychological report did not convey those diagnoses “at first glance”.
Leah is scheduled to be sentenced on October 5.
