Al Pacino has said he will be “forever haunted” by a painful penile injury he suffered when he was 10.
The Godfather alum, 84, recalled his “traumatic” and “embarrassing” childhood memory in his new memoir, Sonny Boy.
While living in the South Bronx, New York, Al said he remembers being in “a lot of pain” after slipping on a tightrope.
In people Look at the book and Al writes: “I was walking on a thin iron fence, dancing on a tightrope. It had been raining all morning and sure enough, I slipped and fell, and the iron bar hit me right between the legs.
“I lay on the bed, my pants all the way down to my ankles while the three women in my life (my mother, my aunt, and my grandmother) pushed and prodded my penis in a state of semi-panic.

Catching up on their co-parenting duties, Noor and Al were seen leaving the swanky restaurant in the same car after enjoying dinner together.
Noor got behind the wheel, while Al leaned back in the passenger seat wearing his dark-framed sunglasses.
Recently, Al was asked if she was in a relationship, to which he responded, “No, I’m in a relationship.”

The father of four also has to make an annual deposit of $15,000 into an educational fund for Roman.
As part of the ruling, the couple has joint legal custody, while Noor will have primary physical custody of their son.
Noor previously had affairs with Holdings/Institute founder Nicolas Berggruen, 63, and Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger, 81.
Along with Roman, the Godfather star also had daughter Julie, 35, with acting coach Jan Tarrant and twins Anton and Olivia, 23, with Emmy-nominated actress Beverly D’Angelo.
