Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ Pritchard has revealed he wants to be half of Britain’s next big double act with his brother Curtis.
The British dancer revealed that he has ambitions to be bigger than Ant and Dec after leaving the BBC show to be a TV presenter.
AJ went on to say that after four years on the show, he decided to quit strictly so that he could ‘get his life back’ after struggling with 18 hours of days and months of training for each series.

AJ told The sun that he would love to match the success of Ant and Dec with his brother Curtis, saying, “We would love to be that presenting duo like her.
“We want to bring our brand – that singing, dancing Saturday night style of family entertainment, a bit like Bruce Forsyth.”
The former professional also revealed that he decided to leave Strictly to create his own brand as he has been repeatedly associated with Strictly and its famous partners.
He explained, “It took six months of my life, some days I worked 18 hours because I was dancing and choreographing. I had no life and wanted to be able to do more. ‘

AJ admitted that in the past he had been forced to refuse other work that would disrupt his time on Strictly, and admitted he was relieved to finally announce his departure after thinking about it for a year,
During his four years on the show, AJ made it to the semifinals three times, but failed to live up to the coveted glitter ball trophy.
At Strictly, he teamed up with the Olympic gym Claudia Fragapane in 2016, followed by Mollie King, Lauren Steadman, and most recently Saffron Barker.

AJ joined the show at the age of 21 and also revealed that he refused to join the professional line-up three times.
Despite rumors of his partnership with The Saturdays star Mollie in 2017, AJ has also managed to avoid the so-called Strictly Curse and never had a romance with any of his famous partners.
AJ is currently isolating himself with his girlfriend Abbie Quinnen, 23, brother Curtis, and his dance teacher parents Debi and Adrian at home in Stoke-On-Trent, saying he would never rule out returning to the show in the future.
On Thursday, he broke the news to fans that he was leaving Strictly just four weeks after fellow pro Kevin Clifton announced his departure.

After four years on Strictly Come Dancing, AJ has decided it’s time to leave the show and follow his dreams to explore the world of presentation with his brother Curtis.

Fellow professional dancer, Curtis, 24, who appeared on Love Island last year, recently had a spell as a receptionist with The Greatest Dancer.
He appeared on This Morning and also starred in the Irish version of Dancing With The Stars.
Both siblings were open about the desire to collaborate and perform in the future, and Curtis had gone on his ‘AJ Live’ tour with his brother before the remaining dates were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
