One woman claimed the airlines lost all her belongings (worth about $7,000) while she was traveling around the world.

Bianca Beemer, 30, a content creator from Toronto, moved from Canada to Berlin, Germany, last August.

He packed all his things into two bags: the first was a suitcase he took with him on the plane and the other was a hockey bag he checked at the airport.

His carry-on was full of items he needed for his work, which included various film equipment, but everything else, including sentimental items, valuables and clothing, went in the hockey bag.

After a long trip that involved two flights and a layover, Bianca waited for the bag, filled with virtually everything she cared about, to arrive at the carousel.

But unfortunately it never happened and now it’s been five months and she still has no idea where the bag is or what happened to it.

To make matters worse, Bianca said CTV Toronto News who had to shell out $250 before leaving after being told his hockey bag was overweight.

He explained that he flew with Condor Airlines from Toronto to Frankfurt, Germany, and then took another flight with Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Berlin.

When her bag didn’t arrive in Berlin, Lufthansa staff told her it was still in Frankfurt.

“I was pretty stressed because I had everything I had,” she remembers. ‘But that was it, I had to get home.

‘At this point, I was still pretty optimistic that my bag would show up because why wouldn’t it?’

But now, five months later, she says they still haven’t found her bag.

CTV News reported that Bianca has had “hundreds of interactions with Lufthansa and Condor,” sent “countless emails” and spent “hours on the phone” trying to get to the bottom of what happened, with very few answers.

She claimed in the post that she often doesn’t hear back from airlines, and when she finally gets to speak to someone on the phone, she receives “conflicting updates.”

‘For me, this whole situation was super distressing. I moved country. “This was not a bag I had for vacations, it was a bag I had to move to another country,” he said.

“As you can imagine, when you move, you don’t have the comforts of home: your friends aren’t there, your family isn’t there.”

Condo told the publication in a statement that Lufthansa was responsible for the lost luggage.

“However, we are very sorry that Ms. Beemer has had a bad start in her new place of residence due to the loss of her luggage and, as a gesture of sympathy, we are offering to refund her excess baggage charges,” the airline added. .

As for Lufthansa, the company told CTV News: “The refund has been provided in correlation with what was on the contents list of the missing item.”

DailyMail.com has contacted both airlines for comment.

Bianca, however, claimed that she did not receive a refund for the money she paid for Condor to check luggage and that she only received about $1,500 from Lufthansa.

She stated that there were approximately $7,000 worth of items in the bag and that some of them were invaluable to her.

“My grandparents passed away during COVID, so I only got a few things from my grandmother,” she added. ‘My grandmother always used to wear scarves, so I had some of those.

‘No amount of money can replace what was in that bag for me. I’ve had crises trying to replace things because it’s not the same anymore.

‘It’s not the same. You can’t accumulate things throughout your life, and they have meaning to you, and I can’t just go out and replace them.

“I mean, I don’t think they gave me the money it would take to replace the financial value, but the value that those things have to me is not replaceable.”
