An Air Canada flight from Morocco to Montreal has reportedly been cancelled over a flight attendant’s response to a passenger who asked for a blanket.
Footage from Air Canada flight AC73 has gone viral, showing the altercation between the airline employee and the passenger who requested the blanket, according to a report CTV News.
The flight attendant allegedly attempted to remove the passenger from the plane and threatened to call the police before other passengers threatened to get off the plane in solidarity.
The airline employee is heard saying: “Either you behave or we get off!” and “I will tell the captain immediately. Yes or no?”

Air Canada told CTV News the flight would depart Casablanca for Montreal on Saturday with a different crew.
An airline spokesman said: “We are taking this incident very seriously. We are looking into it and will take appropriate action.”

The man’s discontent was evident as the verbal fight continued, and the flight was eventually cancelled.
Air Canada has issued a grovelling apology and has launched an investigation into the embarrassing incident.
‘We apologize to our customers and deeply regret that their experience today was far from what they expected when flying with Air Canada.’
