Arsenal in civil war: Ainsley Maitland-Niles summons his OWN CLUB with an ‘All I want to do is go where I want’ plea on Instagram as he offers to force an exit to Everton…and Gunners have a LIST of stars trying to get away on the day of the deadline
- Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles is the subject of Everton’s interest
- But it has emerged that Arsenal are now looking to detain the 24-year-old

Ainsley Maitland-Niles has taken to Instagram to lash out at Arsenal amid reports that they have turned down Everton’s offer to loan him for the season.
Rafa Benitez is interested in bringing the 24-year-old to Goodison Park, but when news broke that Arsenal had turned down The Toffees’ interest, Maitland-Niles took matters into his own hands.
“All I want to do is go where I want and where I’m going to play @arsenal,” he wrote alongside three crying emojis.

Maitland-Niles eager for regular time he thinks will come at Everton
Maitland-Niles came on as a 5-0 substitute from Arsenal against Manchester City over the weekend and started last week’s 6-0 win against West Brom in the League Cup.
But he wants to join Benitez’s Everton revolution, with the Spaniard hoping to get him on loan before the season with an option to buy.
Maitland-Niles’ outburst is even more bad news for under fire Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, whose side is bottom of the Premier League table with three defeats from their first three Premier League games.
Arteta has likely chosen to keep Maitland-Niles with the Gunners as he assesses the options at his disposal in a bid to kick-start their season after the international break.
But the Spaniard has more than one suspicious player in his ranks with Tuesday being the last day of the transfer window. Hector Bellerin also wants a new challenge away from the Gunners, while Willian wants to seal a transfer to Brazil with Corinthians.
In addition, striker Eddie Nketiah is interesting for Crystal Palace, but as it stands, they are being discounted by a transfer from Arsenal. There are also questions about Bernd Leno’s future after Arsenal initially spent £24m on goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale at Sheffield United.

Benitez and Everton have had an encouraging start to the Premier League campaign
Everton, meanwhile, have made an encouraging start under Benitez – whose appointment was opposed by a number of Blues due to his previous work as Liverpool manager.
Saturday’s 2-0 win over Brighton puts Everton in joint second place with seven points from their first three games.
Benitez is doing his best to bring in some new faces to refresh his squad before the window closes on Tuesday.
In addition to Maitland-Niles, Everton is also associated with the transfer-free signing of Salomon Rondon. The former Newcastle striker teamed up with Benitez in the Chinese Super League.
But their efforts to capture Rangers defender Nathan Patterson appear to have reached a roadblock. An £8million offer was rejected by Steven Gerrard and the right-back has been in isolation ever since.
