First trailer for Ahsoka: Rosario Dawson finds herself at the center of the Star Wars galaxy as one of the last Jedi to face the Empire in an action-packed trailer
The highly anticipated first trailer for Ahsoka has been released seeing Rosario Dawson in the titular role as she portrays one of the last Jedi in the Star Wars Galaxy.
The 43-year-old actress looked ready for action in the nearly two-minute clip that was shown at the Star Wars Celebration event in London on Friday after posters of Lizzo and Jack Black’s characters in The Mandalorian were released.
In it, Rosario portrays Ahsoka Tano who is Anakin Skywalker’s exiled Jedi Padawan, who eventually turns to the Dark Side to lead the Galactic Empire as Darth Vader.
The trailer appears to show that the live-action series is directly following several threads from the Star Wars Rebels animated series.
One of the most significant scenes in the clip is Ahsoka’s reunion with Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) that comes years after the disappearance of their friend Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi).

Sabine tells her “It’s been a while”, to which Ahsoka quickly replies “Things have changed”.
It is also confirmed that Mary Elizabeth Winstead will portray Hera Syndola, one of the series’ lead characters.
However, there is complete darkness over the trailer as General Admiral Thrawn is addressed in the trailer even though he is not shown other than the back of his head.
The most mind-blowing part of the clip came when Ahsoka says to Sabine, “I’m starting to hear whispers about Thrawn returning as a plane to the Empire.”
No doubt the excitement had to be displayed as Ahsoka pulled out a lightsaber to do battle.
The trailer featured an epic confrontation between the lead and Baylan Skoll (Ray Stevenson) who wielded the iconic red lightsaber Sith.
At that moment Hera can be heard saying, “We have to prepare for the worst.”
Ahsoka talks about her species being on the verge of extinction, as she said afterwards: “The Jedi fell a long time ago. There are not many left.
