Crows star Chelsea Randall has been medically cleared to play in Adelaide’s big clash against league leaders North Melbourne this weekend after she was involved in a brutal collision with Collingwood’s Eliza James on Sunday.
The incident occurred during the first quarter of the game, when both players collided heads during a marking contest.
James was ruled out for the rest of the game with a concussion, while Randall passed his head injury evaluation after about 20 minutes on the sidelines.
The Crows cruised to a 56-13 victory against the Magpies, with Randall kicking a goal in the final quarter to help his team seal the victory.
The result keeps Adelaide in the top four, tied with Brisbane on 28 points, with two games left to play before the AFLW finals series begins.
Randall, meanwhile, took to Instagram after the game to show off the painful black eye he was left with after the head collision.

Randall appeared to be in good spirits despite the injury and was given the all-clear by doctors to face North Melbourne on Friday night.
Fortunately, doctors have declared that he has not suffered any structural damage to his face, meaning he is likely to be available for Friday night’s big clash.
Speaking on Instagram, Randall revealed the injury to his followers and said: ‘Hey guys, I just wanted to say…’ He said before turning his head so viewers could see his black eye.
“I hope you have a great day,” she added before appearing to laugh at the injury as she posted a photo of herself giving her a thumbs up.
The soccer star appears to be taking a light-hearted view of the injury, posting a photo of herself next to a chipmunk and a photo of Harry Potter after drinking polyjuice potion during the iconic film franchise.

She captioned the post: ‘Footy footy footy. Here is your content for Monday. Squirrel > Polyjuice Potion > Panda Eyes.’
Randall also sent James a note in the caption, writing, “Big love to @elizajames_ in this contest,” adding a “heart hands” emoji.
