Assuming they complete all their deals, the Bombers would consider bringing in Ben McKay, Todd Goldstein, Xavier Duursma and Jade Gresham.
I think it’s definitely a positive result for the Bombers, they’re four good players at different stages of their careers. A lot will depend on McKay and his ability to improve as a footballer in a new environment and stay fit. The best choice in my eyes would be Duursma, as I think there is huge untapped potential there.
It’s also likely that they’ll still have nine picks to work with, so they won’t have sold the farm entirely. You never really know how it’s going to go until you see it on the field, but it’s hard to be critical at this point. I would expect improved Bombers in 2024 from these arrivals, capable of breaking into the lower parts of the eight.
