AFL star Jy Simpkin has reportedly split from girlfriend Demi Brereton.
The North Melbourne co-captain is said to have split from his model girlfriend, both 26, after two years together.
The pair are understood to have gone their separate ways “amicably” in recent weeks and their management told the Herald of the sun that “they are still good friends.”
The pair have apparently unfollowed each other on Instagram in a telling sign, as neither of them appear on each other’s follower lists on the social media platform.
Midfielder Jy last appeared on Demi’s Instagram page when she shared a photo of them together at the Australian Open in January.

Demi also last appeared on Jy’s Instagram that same month, when she shared a selection of photos documenting a romantic getaway they took together.
It is understood that Demi will travel abroad this weekend, while Jy will return to the field after being sidelined with a quad injury in Perth last week.
“Jy has now fully recovered from that quadriceps strain and has marked his return to the scoreboards over the past week,” said North Melbourne head of performance Kevin White. NMFC Media.
“He is participating in full group training without restrictions and will be available to play this week.”
Just two months ago, Demi gave an update on Jy’s recovery after he took a heavy blow to the head from St Kilda defender Jimmy Webster during practice.
