AFL star is Dayne Beams was taken to hospital after being injured in a car accident on his 30th birthday.
The midfielder from Collingwood spent a night in the hospital with minor injuries following the collapse in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne on Thursday night.
A statement from the Pies stated: “Collingwood can confirm that Dayne Beams was involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon.”

The circumstances of the crash are unclear, but it was reported that Beams was the only person injured during the accident.
The crash came on the same day that his wife Kelly Beams wished him a happy birthday on Instagram.
She wrote: “Happy 30th Birthday to this old guy!”
He responded to the message from Kelly in a comment with the text: “Like a bottle of red wine, only better with age.”
Last month Beams auctioned its premiere in 2010 to raise money for help with bushfire.
Beams won the medal in the premiering of Collingwood 2010 after what was the third major grand final in AFL’s history.
Collingwood eventually won 56 points against St Kilda in a repeat.
He got out of the AFL indefinitely in December to tackle mental health problems.
