AFL legend Billy Brownless’ daughter Ruby celebrates engagement to Josh Wallis
Ruby Brownless and Josh Wallis celebrated their engagement with a shindig at a Melbourne eatery.
The couple gathered their family and friends on Sunday at Chin Chin, an Asian fusion restaurant.
In a series of photos shared on Instagram, Ruby, the daughter of AFL great Billy Brownless, beamed as she posed alongside her father and fiancé.
Ruby’s sister Lucy also attended the show, as well as her brothers Oscar and Max.
The beauty wore a Kyha Studios gown in bridal white and worked her angles in a series of photos with her loved ones at the event.

Images from inside the eatery showed a special sign with the couple’s name flanked by flowers and fancy tableware.
The couple announced the happy news of their December engagement in an Instagram post while vacationing on Hayman Island.

They shared photos of them kissing and the beautiful engagement ring.
“I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you!!!” Ruby wrote.
The pair both come from footballing families, with Josh the brother of former Western Bulldogs star Mitch Wallis, and their father is former Bulldogs star Stephen Wallis.
The happy couple were immediately inundated with congratulations from celebrities, friends and family.

The couple has been together since 2019.
It comes after dad Billy debuted his own relationship with a woman named Justine on the TAB Champions Stakes Day race day that same month.
“It’s really new and a nice little friendship. We are going well and are taking it easy,” he told the Herald Sun in August.

It was a huge moment for Brownless, who got through his divorce from wife Nicky in 2016 after 18 years of marriage.
That split was forced when Nicky began sensationally dating Brownless’ best friend, fellow AFL legend and Footy Show host Garry Lyon.
Former St Kilda star Leigh Montagna and his wife Erinn introduced Justine to Brownless and the couples enjoyed some time away together in Fiji in October.
It was great to see the former Footy Show co-host and fan favorite smiling again after some very dark days.
Brownless has made significant strides in mending relationships with both Nicky and Lyon, and they all spent Christmas together in 2020 and again in 2021.
“It worked really well and was all very positive. We are all happy and happy to be all together. It was a fantastic day. We were all really excited about that,” said Lucy Brownless at the time.
