The AFL has approached Australian pop queen Kylie Minogue to perform at this year’s grand final.
According to 7NEWSthe AFL remains hopeful of landing the Melbourne singer in September, despite being told ‘thanks, but no thanks’ when they initially approached her camp.
The identity of the main music act of the AFL Grand Finals usually gets fans excited, with Robbie Williams stealing the show in 2022.
His performance thrilled the 100,000 strong crowd, while fans at home were equally pleased and flooded Twitter with praise for the AFL’s choice to recruit the international superstar.
And now AFL bosses want to follow up on another big name and hope to seduce Minogue, 55, in September.
