AFL president Richard Goyder spends more than $10 million on luxury Melbourne mansion in South Yarra
AFL president Richard Goyder has spent $10.43 million on a stunning mansion in one of Melbourne’s most prestigious suburbs.
The sports boss bought the four-bedroom, five-bathroom multi-level building in June, according to the Sun Herald.
Goyder and his wife Janine have yet to confirm the purchase, which comes after the luxury home was listed in a price range of $9 million to $9.5 million in May.
Located in sought-after South Yarra, 5.5km from the CBD, the ultra-modern concrete and marble home features a private elevator, swimming pool and six-car garage.
Highlights include a spacious, open design, multiple living areas, and two nicely appointed home offices.

The well-known business identity bought the four-bedroom, five-bathroom multi-level building in South Yarra in June, the Herald Sun reports.
There is also a living room with gas fireplace and an outdoor dining area.
The main kitchen, meanwhile, offers marble fixtures, high-end appliances and a butler’s pantry.
Other features include a multi-zone Denon audio system, powder room and coat storage.
There is also an outdoor kitchen area with barbecue, a sun terrace and a “kids’ wing”.

Goyder has been president of the AFL since 2017 and has held the same role at Qantas since 2018 and energy company Woodside.
According to the Herald Sun, Goyder has an extensive property portfolio, with three properties in Western Australia, including a five-bedroom mansion in Perth.
It comes after Goyder made headlines this week after announcing he would miss the first round of the AFL finals.
The high-flying businessman chose to spend time in Broome in order to attend his son’s wedding this weekend, reports the Adelaide Advertiser.
