The band took to Instagram to announce that their shows in Toronto (originally scheduled for September 12), Chicago (September 15), Detroit (September 18), Cleveland (September 21), Raleigh (September 24) and Washington DC ( September 27) have been postponed to early 2024.
Singer Steven Tyler – whose daughter recently escaped the Maui fires – explained in his post that doctors had ordered him not to sing for the next 30 days, leading to postponements.
Rescheduled dates are Monday, January 29, 2024 – Detroit, MI – Little Caesars Arena, Wednesday, February 14, 2024 – Chicago, IL – United Center, Saturday, February 17, 2024 – Washington, DC – Capital One Arena, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 – Toronto, ON – Scotiabank Arena, Monday February 26, 2024 – Raleigh. Tyler also made a brief statement, revealing that the postponement was due to him suffering vocal cord damage during the tour.

“I am heartbroken to say that I have been under strict orders from my doctor not to sing for the next thirty days,” Tyler began.
“I suffered damage to my vocal cords during Saturday’s show, which resulted in some bleeding,” Tyler added, referring to the show in Elmont, New York, at the UBS Arena.
“We will have to postpone a few dates in order to be able to come back and give you the performance you deserve,” he concluded in his press release.
The band added: “All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available for those who are unable to attend. Fans with questions regarding refunds should contact their point of purchase.
