A manhunt is underway to track down a brazen thief who stole hundreds of dollars worth of sex toys and lingerie from an adult store.
CCTV captured the man breaking into and entering the Adult Bliss erotic boutique in Glen Osmond, in Adelaide’s east, about 3.30am on May 23.
The robbery caused $3,000 worth of damage, in addition to $2,000 in stolen property.
The co-owner of the devastated store, Simon Mawson, told Daily Mail Australia that the thief initially approached the window and then left.
“Then about 15 minutes later, they came back with a screwdriver or some type of implement and broke the bottom of the window. and they kicked him with their foot and started taking things off the screen,” he said.
“I think the first time they realized they didn’t really have anything to take with them, they left and came back with a bag, and it looks like they cleaned most of the window on that trip and then came back to get it.” last.

Mawson claimed the thief also dismantled the mannequin in the window, removed its underwear and stole its handcuffed hand.
“Instead of opening the handcuffs, he simply twisted the mannequin’s hand and took everything that was on the mannequin,” Mawson said.

Mawson said the robber was lucky there was a fault in the store’s alarm system.
“I think once he broke the window, he realized the alarm hadn’t gone off.
“I think he thought, ‘Now I can take my time, as long as I don’t go to the store.'”
The storefront had been recently added.
“It’s not something we felt comfortable with until recently, mainly because, you know, product packaging has changed so much in our industry that most of its PG now, so we actually have the ability to showcase some things”. without offending too many people,” Mr Mawson said.
