Several A-list stars hit the red carpet at the 2025 New York Film Critics Circle Awards on Wednesday, despite the devastating fires affecting Los Angeles.
Hollywood shut down amid the catastrophic fire, with the Critics Choice Awards postponed for two weeks and the Oscar nominations delayed until January 19.
But the stars still attended the annual Film Critics Circle Awards, held at TAO Downtown in New York City.
Brutalist actor Adrien Brody, 51, attended the prestigious evening with his girlfriend Georgina Chapman, 48.
He cut a dashing figure in a black tuxedo with a black sweater underneath. Meanwhile, the Marchesa designer, ex-wife of disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein, wowed in a metallic silver dress.
The Film Critics Circle Awards honor excellence in filmmaking in several categories, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and more.

The film follows a Hungarian Jewish architect who flees to the United States after the Holocaust. The film also won the Best Picture award at the event.
Also present at the awards show was Homeland star Claire Danes, 45, who debuted a new dark brown hair color while ditching her signature blonde look.
While on the red carpet, she ran into Succession star Kieran Culkin, 42.
He looked as dapper as ever in a metallic purple suit and black dress shoes.
Culkin received the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in Jesse Eisenberg’s film, A Real Pain.
Mikey Madison, 25, opted for a sleek black top and mini skirt, which she paired with black tights.
The Añora star completed her look with black pointy-toe heels.
Carol Kane, 72, looked elegant in a black button-down dress paired with brown boots.
Guy Pearce, 57, looked as handsome as ever in a dark suit and black tie.

Other winners at the show included Nickel Boys director RaMell Ross, who received the Best Director award, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, who was honored with the Best Actress award for her performance in Hard Truths, and Carol Kane, who she won the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Between the Temples.
The awards ceremony took place despite other events being postponed amid the terrifying California wildfires.
The 2025 Critics Choice Awards were scheduled for January 12 at Barker Hangar, which is near fire-ravaged Pacific Palisades, but will now take place on January 26.
Critics Choice Association executive director Joey Berlin said in a statement to THR: “This unfolding tragedy has already had a profound impact on our community.
“All our thoughts and prayers are with those fighting the devastating fires and all those affected.”
The annual BAFTA tea party scheduled for Saturday in Beverly Hills was canceled and the AFI awards were postponed.
The Los Angeles fire chief said Wednesday morning that the fires have left at least two people dead, as well as many “significant injuries.”

The Palisades Fire broke out Tuesday morning amid high winds in a region that hasn’t seen significant rain in more than six months.
More than 30,000 people have been evacuated, often leaving with only their pets and the T-shirts they were wearing.
Sunset Boulevard in Palisades was lined with abandoned luxury cars as residents abandoned their vehicles to flee on foot.
Blocks of expensive homes were reduced to rubble as fires raged at a rate of three football fields a minute.
A stretch of beach houses along the Pacific Coast Highway have been burned to the ground.
The fire reached the Getty Villa, but museum officials assured the public that all works of art and artifacts are safe.
The Palisades Fire is not the only fire ravaging Los Angeles. The Eaton Fire in the Pasadena area has claimed two lives and prompted the evacuation of a senior center.
Several celebrities have lost their homes, including Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, Anthony Hopkins, John Goodman and Miles Teller.
