Billionaire Adrian Portelli, known as ‘Mr. Lambo’, has offered a huge reward to anyone who can identify a group of would-be thieves who broke into his office and walked away empty-handed.
Portelli shared two CCTV videos of the group inside his office in Melbourne’s north on Wednesday night after the clueless burglars entered through a broken window.
The 34-year-old, best known online for donating thousands of dollars through his savings subscription, LMCT+, and bidding on The Block properties, said he wanted to make sure the thieves were caught because he “just has a son “.
“I don’t need idiots like this in my shit… It’s fucking disrespectful,” she told her Instagram followers.
Portelli initially offered $100,000 for the identity of the robbers, but doubled the reward to $200,000 on Thursday afternoon.
Billionaire Adrian Portelli has offered $200,000 for any “information leading to a conviction” for the group of thieves (pictured) who broke into his office in Melbourne’s north.
The Melbourne businessman (pictured on Thursday) offered a huge reward to the interned detectives.
“I’m going to increase it to $200,000 for whoever can get me the names of the people who broke into this store last night,” he told his 292,000 Instagram followers.
‘If you have the information, come forward. You will remain anonymous. Let’s end this once and for all.’
CCTV shows at least four people, one of them armed with a sledgehammer, searching the office for any valuables.
The group fled in a dark-coloured four-door van, which was also captured on CCTV.
Portelli revealed why they “left empty-handed in their pursuit of happiness.”
“They thought they would be welcomed into a big gold mine so they could flee to Barbados and live off the money,” he said.
‘Guys, I don’t keep money, keys or anything valuable in the place. There is nothing here.
‘If you want a Coco Republic sofa, you’re more than welcome to come in and steal it, but if you want cash or anything else, there’s nothing here.’
‘I’m from the west too, friend. Do you think I’m going to publicize all this money and then say, “It’s in the factory, guys, help yourselves”?
‘To get ready.’
While nothing was stolen, footage of the robbery showed damaged computers and overturned furniture.
The thieves (one pictured) entered Adrian Portelli’s office through a broken window but found nothing worth stealing.
Portelli joked that the group really did him a favor.
“You’ve given me a ton of new content that I really desperately needed,” he said.
‘We were running out of content. You did wonders for me. But if you want to win $350,000 legally, here is the link.
“It only costs 10 dollars, it’s a lot less effort than stealing a car, breaking into a place, now you have all the police after you and your companions will probably rat you out for 200,000 dollars.”
Portelli decided to ‘make fun’ and opened the investigation to his followers, along with the prize money.
“We are going to play a game called condemn the criminal,” he said.
He promised to give anyone who can provide “information leading to a conviction” an “instant transfer” of $200,000.
