Chiefs fans praise Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes and their teammates for taking the time to chat with a young cancer survivor.
A Make-A-Wish kid named Jackson visited the Kansas City headquarters with his family during preseason practice Tuesday, where he was seen chatting with players and coach Andy Reid.
“The guys spent some time with Make-A-Wish guy Jackson, who, after 7 rounds of aggressive treatment, recently said he is officially cancer-free,” the Chiefs captioned an adorable X-video.
‘How are you man?’ Mahomes asked the young man, who was decked out in Chiefs merchandise.
Kelce chimed in, “Friends, give me some love,” while high-fiving the kids.

‘Are you enjoying the day?’ the tight end asked.
In a separate clip, Reid was seen putting a cap on Jackson’s head, before placing another cap on him backwards.
“So they don’t know if you’re coming or going,” he said matter-of-factly.
Running back Isiah Pacheco was also seen crouching down to chat with the children, as they posed for photos with the players’ helmets.
One of the kids, presumably Jackson’s sister, also showed off her t-shirt saluting Kelce, aka “Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.”

‘I couldn’t pick a favorite part of this video if I tried. Everyone treated them with such warmth and kindness. The world needs more of this,” another chimed in.
A third noted, “Mahomes and Pacheco putting themselves on the kids’ level surpass them,” while another fan wrote, “What a way to celebrate Jackson’s milestone!” Come on bosses!!’
Earlier in the day, defensive tackle Chris Jones insisted that Kelce still has “four or five more years” of playing time ahead of him.
‘We can’t let TK go. It’s like if we retire, we have to retire together. Give me at least six, four years and then we’ll talk about it,” she said, when asked about the retirement rumors swirling around the tight end.

Kelce, for his part, said he wants to keep playing “until the wheels fall off.”
‘I can’t really set a deadline (for retirement). “I love coming to work every day,” she said this week, according to The Athletic.
“Let’s hope that doesn’t happen anytime soon,” he continued.
“Obviously, I know there are opportunities for me outside of football. You have to keep in perspective that I’m still a little kid when I walk into this building, man.
‘I know I’m 34, but I love doing this here in the June heat. I love coming to work every day.’
